Most of the time, I work without interfering with the environment.

I don’t call the animals over, and I don’t stage the scene. I prefer to adapt to them. It means more time, more waiting, and often returning without a single photograph—but at the same time, it yields authentic results.

I spend a large part of my photo shoots in hides or at pre-selected locations where I have the chance to be as inconspicuous as possible to the animals.

I mainly focus on birds and small animals in Central Europe, but I occasionally venture beyond the region’s borders.

What I enjoy most:

• natural behavior
• interactions between animals
• moments that last only a fraction of a second

Behind a single photo, there is often:

• several hours of waiting
• getting up early
• silence and minimal movement
• and sometimes even a day when nothing goes right at all

And that is precisely part of the whole process.

Those moments when everything falls into place—the light, the situation, and the animal’s behavior—are all the more powerful for it.

In addition to photos, I also share short videos and behind-the-scenes footage from my photo shoots.

I try to show not only the final results, but also the process behind them—how they come about, what goes into them, and what a real photo shoot in nature looks like.

Nature isn’t just a subject for me to photograph.

It’s a place where time slows down and every moment carries more weight. Photography is a way for me to capture and share those moments.
