As owl and birds of prey lovers, we travel to see our favourites quite often and a lot. That’s why I decided to do this “PHOTO PROJECT”, whose MAIN goal will be to photographically monitor the owls, for us familier “owlets”, that we encountered to study their appearance, characteristics, habitats, etc. In this case, I am going outside my main direction, wildlife photography, and composing all owls into the project, including those that live in captivity.
Owls are a relatively large order of carnivorous birds, numbering more than 200 species. They are found on all continents of the world except Antarctica. Most owls are solitary nocturnal animals with a number of adaptations that allow them to hunt in the dark.
Some owls can be found in cities, even in the centre of Prague. Wherever there is a park, orchard or garden with old trees in the city.
